No I’m not. I completely agree. Electric is my kryptonite. But I need to learn it and figure it out. So may as well learn from those who have figured it out as best I can.
 
Good Morning All! Wow, 58 hours worked last week, glad the weekend is here! Son took off for Vegas, going to quarantine in his room when he returns, glad that he's seeing his Marine buddies, hope he stays healthy. Going to try to get the rear axle out of Duster and keep it on all the lift.

Probably one of the largest mistakes I’ve ever made. When I was 18, I got an offer from one of the last classically trained leather Smiths and silversmiths. Offered to take me on as his apprentice. Said if I gave him 3 years of hard work, he could have me making 125-150 grand a year. But I had just completed BCT. Didn’t think or know how to transfer states. So I turned him down. I regret it from time to time
 
Might check out a show or 2 today. Probably not showing, just going... First one is 10-2. Just says 'car show and barbque' And that is the only info I can find. :soapbox:If your gonna bother having a show -please put up a little more info than the time. :wtf: It's at a Farm about half hour away. They have a store etc and their own FB page, but don't put up any details. I've got some other running to do, so think I will take the Neon. Maybe I can show it and win ugliest car or sumthin. LOL
 
I feel like I worked that many hours this week. But I only worked my regular shift. We are helping cover 3rd shift. 2 of us on second - one stays 4 hours over every other week. Leaves us short first half of our shift if we only do 8s. So last week I did 10s and co worker only had first 2 hours on his own. I thought he would do same. Nope. Was on my own first 4 hours for 4 nights. Jerk

07 Rustang towed here last night. Electrical system fail. Needs an Alternator. Not too bad to get to.. BEER.......

Was a battle and i scraped the paint on my dash. Easy enough to fix it though.

Went to the first show. About 20 cars. Some really nice other than one newer Challenger, this was THE Mopar. LOL Wlooked at cars for maybe 5 minutes... Got some good stuff in the store. They have the best Honey Sweet Bologna around. (Have bought it from other stores in the area) Grabbed a lb of that, 8piece brosted chicken. Just had a piece. Breast was a little dry (rather that than undercooked), but tasty -very good with a beer. Would have been a decent drive for the Duster, but wasn't sure how the roads would be.. Mostly backroads that I have not been on before.. Had a big storm with flooding last night. I did go through a big washout from a gravel driveway. Scrubbed the front spoiler of the Neon on a turn where the road inclines suddenly. Might have cleared on Duster, but would have been pissed if I tore up the bottom of the bumper. Also had deer in the middle of the road...
 
As a coworker used to say after finishing a (usually easy) job....Another job well done! Oil change completed. I did notice something - I got the STP oil and filter special at AZ. Already had a purolator at the house. Purolator is taller. I had discovered last year my Kohler engine mower uses same as the Neon. I trust the Pur more so saved it for the mower. I have had it for over 20 years and probably still will after the Neon is gone. LOL

I ONLY use Wix filters on my cars. Of course Motorcraft filter on my truck, and Audi, VW filters on my other two cars, BUT Wix on my Mopars....

Tim, be aware, Carquest Blue Box filters are also made by Wix...Been using them for years now......CQ red box filters are junk, just like the rest....

Auto value filters, parts master are made by wix as well. Thats all i use/sell.
 
Man and Hummel are good filters.....Purolator...Ehhhh not so much,,,,
