Well, good morning all. got my New brakes for my car trailer yesterday. Now to put them on, should bolt right up, BUT, the parking brake function will have to be modded......always something...
64 t-bird,the flap assist hinge almost works. I think battery is weak. But he supplied a remote for the top,so its easy to get out and move the flap. Its going to do away with having to hold the dash button alltogether.

I had forgotten about them till I saw a really bright one cross the sky while driving home around 3:30 this morning. I sat outside a little while at home, but only saw one more. Between the bright moon, too many lights and stuff in the way, tough get a wide view of the sky. Could have been some happening and I just missed them.

Man I just burnt the heck out of my hand. Grabbed a hold of a bracket I was cutting on and didn’t think it’d be that hot but it was hot as hell
Been trying to see them all week but it’s been cloudy at night since Tuesday last week

Pretty common issue here. Of all the benefits and beauty this part of the world has to offer, clear night skies ain't one of them.
I let myself into the rock farm at 3AM one morning to see an event such as that. Drove the Yota 4x4 to the top of one of the material piles in the back of the yard, set up the lawn chair in the back of the pickup, got out the coffee and watched the meteors.

The overcast has already retreated to the sea today, should be a nice afternoon. We have a relative heat wave predicted for the coming week, mid 80s compared to our low and mid 70s. Fog season should be just about over for the year. About the time the inland deserts start to cool off, it get's hot here.
Went on a service call,Farm Tractor wont start. Guy says it wont run and offers 2 grand for it. Cheapest beat up piece of crap Ford 5000 goes for $4,000 us.
I jumped the neutral start switch and fires right up. 2 years sitting. it wouldnt move. No gears at all. Same guy that offered 2 grand disengaged the driveline,has a lever for that.
so i moved it back into its shed where its usually parked and done. Nice Lady, lost her hubby a few years ago,is steady being taken advantage of.
Insisted i stay for lunch,and paid way more than i asked for.
I knew her husband, and have known the family for a long time.
its fixed good enough to sell,she is definetly not letting it go for 2 grand.

Drives poorly though. Its all redone, except for the steering. Tomorrow afternoon.
Mustang is not up to par. At all. brakes are the absolute *****,steering is poor at best.
and runs horrible. Lifter tick and a backfire if i raise rpms to around 1500.
