Stop in for a cup of coffee

I've done well just running them over an extra time. Still have one big maple on the property line that is just changing now. Others have dropped most of their leaves. If I keep up with mulching them, I think this will be either the 3rd or 4th year I didn't pick any up.
I haven't harvested leaves in years. I used to get the young guy that uses my lift , to blow them off with one of those big turbine push blowers. But now the new tenant is responsible for leaf removal. He bought a backpack blower. Works well here since I am by the woods, and they all just get blown in there. However this tenant was last in Cali, and complains about the leaves. I see him working them every two or three days. He had a fit, because he couldn't get the pool closed early. He was out there every day dipping leaves..LOL...

I used a piece for conveyor belting (sold at TS) That way if you hit say the wrench you lost it has a way of getting out.

You need something that will catch the wrench, not throw it to the side... If it gets thrown out the side, you may not be able to find it again and it's still lost.... :realcrazy: :BangHead:

Just like the new Jewish high performance car tires... Not only do they stop on a dime, they pick it up also....

There's a difference between maple and oak leaves.... Maple leaves break up easier...

If you take a brown maple leaf in your hand and squeeze it, it will disintegrate and crumble into many pieces...

If you try that with an oak leaf, it will not break up as easily, they stay in big pieces...

I had maple trees in my yard in Detroit, over here I have lots of Oaks... :BangHead:
Yep. don't have any oaks. I do have several different types of trees though and all mulch a little different.

My neighbor has one of those back pack leaf blowers, they are powerful... Much stronger than my plug in Black & Decker.... It can move the leaves in half the time...

i bought a 15 dollar one from menards. it works really really well. Quite surprised. Not as good as my neighbors big gas powered stihl one that's like a backpack, but that thing would move a mountain

I have a hand help powerful one that will move the leaves.
I have an extra battery and between the two can get most of the leaves either blown into a pile, or back over the creek bank.
No leaf bagging here for 30 years now.

The right directional wind should take care of those...
I got lucky with the wind earlier this week. Took most of what fell away before it hit the ground. Since last weekend, only mowed under one tree that is right by a row of thick pines and the wind cant get through.

I'm moving all my new investments to a ROTH setup. I'll leave my pretax stuff alone, they said I'd have to withdraw it, pay taxes and penalty on it, then re-invest it as a roth, get the penalty money back, but seems like a lot of work

New leadership has me happy......
It really doesn't matter who wins, it will be the same old crap.
I'll still wake up every morning and do what I do, that doesn't change.
I just hope he can survive four years so we don't get her, and be strong enough to resist the progressive left.
Time will tell.
