Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well I'm back. It was quick he did the initial removal, checked it under the microscope, and was done. Just a few stitches to close it up.
Hey John @Sublime one wonder what the new neighbor will think when the range opens?? And why was she pissy about you all buying the property?? I mean it was for sale?? Did she think it won't sale, if so she's clueless. Maybe next trip we'll meet in KC for a meal. By the time you came here and drove back it'd be about 130 miles out of your way. I know your on a schedule when you go south.

FYI, the only reason I bring up cost, is to give guys an idea what different upgrades cost. What the REAL price is to build........

After Hoppy's post about the $250 shifter boot, I looked up shifters  Holy crap!
But then again there was that incident with my buddy's 4spd Comet when he grabbed a big 1st-2nd shift and the shifter handle broke off . He drove it home with the aid of a phillips screwdriver  .

Question.....what are you guys watching during any downtime lately? I just started Peaky Blinders - 1920 ish Birmingham gang type movie. Think Boardwalk Empire but across the pond. It is a very good show if anyone is looking.
I enjoyed Peaky Blinders

Does their tracking number give any useful info?
Yes, call them and they can tell you where it came from.
If its a rare high dollar Hemi one its probably oh wait IT IS mine...you can send it back. :D

That is this round, not including what I have in the car to build it, like I sold to Dave!!!
Grrr you make it so difficult....
Not exactly.....Just where it came from, and maybe a name, but it might be wrong...un recognized...
the ups store and online both require a phone number to ship any thing. And online requires an email.

the one area I forgot to even think about was tools. That has honestly been part of my delay in some areas. While I had plenty of mechanical tools, it was the special body tools that I lacked. And still do on some. That’s why I made my tubs using a tire a ratchet strap.

Had a Subaru XT Turbo coupe years back, broke the handle off the shifter, used a 1/2 deep socket and a 6 inch extension for 2 years, best anti theft protection possible, just took it with me when I parked it.

I thought that was very creative myself. Nothing wrong with that
thanks.
I don’t know how I came up with it actually. The cool part is it worked so well, that I was able to duplicate it exactly to match, perfectly. To me that was a pretty good feat

So just got back to ND from trip South sorting out contractors for house build. First priority is building a bridge. Attached photo is the existing bridge, spineless contractors won’t drive over it! Hah! The pix of the hill is where shop, pistol range and house will be. Our acreage is from point of view to the top of tree line, basically everything you can see in the pix. We love the property but it is a lot of work. We spent all day finding property pins and marking them on our GPS. One neighbor was so annoyed that we bought the acreage she took it upon herself to mow a property line strip by the creek. She claims to know where the property line is. Sadly the survey crew did not agree with her assessment. We pinned and flagged all boundaries. Not a fun trip but necessary. No time to do anything else. You boys and one lady threw up thirty pages while I was gone. Holy smokes! When I left Ark last night it was 55F degrees, it is 8 below zeroF this morning. And you wonder why we are heading home!View attachment 1715678594View attachment 1715678595
Lots of room for Hemi to run around in...lol

Just landed...

Put a test on the digital engine warmer upper, and it was percolating. Engine whirled over and ran on like 3 cylinders as the others were likely drowned.
Snapped the throttle open a little and its back to as good as it can get. My toes are froze. These boots get pretty slick in this cold.

thanks.

Creativity is a sign of IQ. that being said, I DO wonder how it came to you!!!:poke::poke::rofl:

So I forgot to post the bridge no one will drive over! Hah! Clearly a cement truck ain’t going over that. I got to build my own bridge. Bid came in at 130,000. No Fing way. I will pour a couple of pilings buy a couple of beams, and a couple six beers later I will have me a bridge built. I will pay Zman in toddies so he can be my welders helper!

Just curious. Did they leave the axles and suspension attached to that bridge?
