Man oh man, you all see this stuff involving Robin Hood trading app and GameStop. Absolutely absurd and yet hilarious at the same time

Evening guys. Quick question, since the car is technically sold and the money is in my bank. Can I mail out the title and BOS to the person who bought my car or should I wait until its on the trailer and heading down the road? Would there be any reason I would need to hold onto the title while Im in possession of it awaiting the pick up? Part of me says mail the paperwork after its picked up, but Im just not sure..

If it's going with a shipper, mail it to the buyer with signature....

Good to go

Sorry didnt mean send the title and stuff with the car, I meant can I mail it off now, while I still have possession of the car. I always intended to mail the title and BOS.

Don’t mail it, FedEx or UPS it but only after you’re 100 percent clear of the check/eft
Yes, already checked with the bank and funds have cleared as of yesterday. He was wondering if I could mail it prior to the car getting picked up so he could get insurance ect.

Only reason I could think is if transport needed proof of ownership. Like do they need proof they aren’t steeling it if they get stopped?

Send a copy of the signed title with your contact info with the car or transporter.. Make sure you mark it "COPY" with blue ink or marker.

I'll hold onto it until the car is loaded and heading down the road. It just makes me feel better.. Thanks guys... I appreciate the opinions.

They were talking about how people should have jumped on the game stop stocks when they were cheap on the morning news.. Glad those were some I didnt buy..

I have no idea what Robin Hood is, but I would of steered clear of that to begin with. I use a trusted and established site, for my stocks.

I always said a company is only as valuable as the investors say it is....

Stock price doesn’t determine what the real value is. Shares are traded up and down on speculation of what the “share” value is...not what the company value is.

A change in share price doesn’t change the money the company has or can use.

Shareholders of existing issued stock are not investors. People who put up money to buy new shares issued are.

Trust me, I’m living the reality with the SEC now and raising funds for the company to use. Our stock price jumped 20% in the last week but it didn’t put a nickel in our pockets to use. We still need to leverage the shares and sell new ones to raise capital. Existing shares do nothing for us.

Agree. All these guys did was take the hedge fund money....

Wall street is pissed the wrong people are manipulating the market. Short sellers lost millions... It was so easy to do....It will happen again...
It’s how it has always been...and will continue to be.

The market for shares and the companies that issue them are disconnected. The market trades on existing shares only. Kinda like gambling that the LD 340 intake you just bought might be worth more in the future than what you paid for it. Short selling means gambling on a note that says it will be worth less. Kinda like betting on the over/under on a ball game.

Yep but it still hilarious that a group of internet “bandits” took down a multi billion dollar hedge fund so easily. Freaking hilarious.

When I bought the Barracuda the previous owner sent the title UPS or FedEx one of them.
When the check cleared the previous owner provided me the VIN. I called my insurance company and told them the date I wanted coverage to begin. Your buyer might have different requirements.

If the funds are cleared, then the buyer owns it. Send the title by insured carrier ASAP.

No reason to hold it unless you are liable for the completion of shipping...in which case make sure you have insurance to cover it.
