That’s sad really. Nothing against the artwork but I would have hoped the hard work would have at least netted you the same

VAFB just installed a huge solar farm out there. Their power was so sketchy when I was working on SLC6, I didn't know if I would have electricity to make their new concrete at times :lol:. How many months of the year do we see partial sunshine at best? :lol:

IDK, if you are here for the “likes” count, I think you have missed the point.

Just be who you are and let others decide what they like or not. It’s not like it is a video game where the score matters.

We were all just posting what we felt long before the like button came along and anyone cared about it. Erase the buttons and counts and it won’t change who I am or what I post.

I’m not trying to get the “high score”.

That got ice covered!! Saw an article earlier that the snow reduced the wind mills and solar farms in Texas by roughly 90 percent and that they had no back up for it. Buddy of mine is a power plant engineer for Duke Energy, they’ve been trying to figure out how to connect things to draw power from here in Indiana, all the way down to Texas. The Infrastructure is there, they just have to connect things in the right order. Under normal times, something like 80 percent of energy produced in Indiana is sold to Oregon, Washington and Northern Ca.

Oh wow, so. Dylan just texted me, my buddy with Duke I mentioned earlier. Looks like we may be in for some rolling black outs, they’re requesting Duke find a way to reduce grid consumption here in Indiana by 20,000 to 25,000 Mw and send it to Texas.

man, this sounds cascading. Anyone remember the big North East outage a few years after 9/11? That took down the entire east coast. Having our grid system interconnected is a double edge sword, would sure be easy to screw up

They keep de commissioning nuclear power plants, and this is what we get....Depending on green energy, that has issues in snow storms....
 
Actually received a nice Club Sandwich, and a small salad for breakfast today. Carton of Milk, also. Was a nice change from the constant kimchi....
