Stop in for a cup of coffee

Installed fan. Had to adjust lower rad hose so it cleared. Then wired ignition switch. 97 needs 2 ignition wires, and cant be spliced together, so added a relay. It cranks now.i can put ign switch back into dash i think.
 
Quite a few derelicts at the donut shop. Not a Mopar to be seen :realcrazy:. Right behind me as I pulled into the parking lot, a really nice '69 AMX and as I left an early vintage Marlin with questionable taste in ride height and tires and wheels :rolleyes:.
 
Well, that was fun. Ign switch in dash and working. Heater wouldnt work,nothing at all was right. Took me an hour to realize the heater switch harness was bass-ackwards. The connection at heater housing and switch were interchangeable. So in pullibg harness,i swapped ends. That was a head scratcher. Then no fan, blower resistor was bad. Next is gas pedal,then fuel tank. was a productive day i think.

Well I’m over 24 hours in on dose 2 and other than being a bit tired and my arm is still sore-all ok. Made a batch of chili today. New ingredient... cocoa powder. Not sure why it works, but I like it.:thumbsup:

Surprised that “front line workers” in SC like myself are now eligible to get the vaccine, I get the first shot next Saturday.

I never heard of using it before I lived there...but I did like it!

In PA, there are lots of reasons to be eligible. Health care workers were first then mostly age or health. A couple years ago when my BP was jumping all over the monitor clocked my at 180bpm and in afib... But I would have 'qualified' just by being overweight. The hard part is finding an available shot and getting registered. My wife used to be in registration at the hospital, so when they said they were available at the hospital she started clicking away on the keyboard and we were in.

Me and my wife are still trying to get registered. We both qualify, but the doses just aren’t available here for us yet. Too many frontline medical personnel ahead of us in this County right now. We still keep trying though...we will get it eventually.

We are well isolated and I work from home, so time isn’t urgent for us right now.

Don’t get the moderna if you can help it. Or if you do, the second dose sucks.

I’m eligible 3 different ways, spouse of a medical worker, dod essential employee and the Guard. The latter of which asked me to get it today and I declined. For now

Mae has immune issues and I go to work around people every day, so was kinda no brainer to get it ASAP
 
Shots seem to be somewhat abundant here. I was walking through the VA Friday, for my appointment, and asked three times by different employees if I wanted a Covid shot. Not now, too soon for me. I'm sure all that need it will have it in the next couple months. Hopefully in July, we all show up in Carlisle and together kick 2020 to the curb!!

I’m not anti-vax. Not at all, I’ll get it at some point I’m sure, but I’m erring on the side of caution just because from what my Dr said, I need to hold off on getting it. Due to the neurological stuff from the other year that never went solved and some of the potential side effects. Odds are, I won’t have a reaction but until there’s more data, and with it being optional, I’m gonna hold off a while. Plus it’ll free up another dose for someone who really needs it

Yea, if Doc says no.... It does have different effects on diff people. And they don't know how normal people will react - so certainly not a good idea for you :poke: :)
 
So I sat down with a 1 star today and decided to extend my guard career for another year. Figured why not

Yep my wife said after her day of battles with the second dose of Moderna, that she would rather go thru childbirth with no Epidural a dozen times. The uncontrollable twitches and spasms hurt her a lot. Out of 22 nurses that got it that day, 16 had severe reactions but only to the second shot. It was so bad, the doctors closed the office for the day something that’s only happened now twice in 13 years she’s been there
