I will be looking for a sure grip center section with 3.23 gears this year. Has 3.55 now, and I want a higher ratio... For the long drive cross country...

What does the GV put the final at with 3.55 vs 3.23?

A desert rat friend had a A 108 with a transplanted CHP 440 and 727 with 2.73s that would get 23mpg while towing his race buggy

I have a car with 456 gears mine drops to around 3.90

3:55/ 2:77 3:23/ 2:52. The engine I built will be a low end torque monster. Perfect for high final gearing...The 904 I had built has the lower first planetary set in it...

Found this in my grandfathers random boxes of Knick knacks
Firebird finally finished. Runs better with vacuum leaks capped too. wife loaded scrap into the dump trailer. One level load, will see how much it pays on monday.

There was two around here not far from that. One is gone,garages refused to work on it. Other one hasnt seen a garage in its entire life, one front wheel wobbles like there isnt much holding it on.
$260/ton.
