Good morning
Good morning
I had a 28 ft ladder I had to use at the phone company. Thing was heavy and awkward...Well FINALLY found in town, a Werner 12' fiberglass step ladder. I need one with 12' ceilings in the big garage at the new place. The seller offered to sell me an old 8' wooden ladder they had....no thanks!!
Went out to Lowes with my neighbor to pick it up. There it was standing upright crammed in with all the other ladders. Looked like they'd gotten a new shipment of ladders. We got it untangled and then comically got it off the rack within the 8' aisle with the to ceiling storage shelves they have. We had to turn it every which way but up to get it out...haha!!
That’s a big ladder. We have one at work. I have 15 and 24 ft extension ladders. They are a piece of cake to handle compared to a 12 A frameWell FINALLY found in town, a Werner 12' fiberglass step ladder. I need one with 12' ceilings in the big garage at the new place. Meh in stock trim, maybe. This has the bug 84 mm pump. It’ll support 1500 hp with a turn of a screw. To bad they are so gutless!!!
Support, not make....Meh in stock trim, maybe. This has the bug 84 mm pump. It’ll support 1500 hp with a turn of a screw.
It’s like anything else, the right combo, they can easily make 1500 hp. 1500 out of a 6B is easy. We did it all the time when I worked for TST. Hell the stock rods and pistons can even handle it if you watch your cylinder temps. For about 6k in parts, you can break 1500 easy. The fuel injection pump just needs the afc screw set right and the fuel plate turned upside down or removed entirely, add 10 degrees of clocking for timing and off ya goSupport, not make....
And I bet you they were not being paid a living wage....Wow.... just saw a posting on the local city page. Manager of our local steak and shake couldn’t get enough workers, so he laid everyone off and told them to go apply for unemployment.
Steak and Shake here is actually the highest paying fast food joint in town. My brother used to work there. 10 years ago, they were paying 12 bucks an hour. Sign says they’re hiring at 20.90/hr currently. And I bet you they were not being paid a living wage....
Well our group made it home safe without any breakdowns. I need to up the jets in my carbs and look into a better radiator. Was running 200⁰ for the last 2hrs on the freeway at 70mph. Was a great trip, super hot but the show and FABO guys were awesome!! Thanks guys
I have one of those to.
I'll need it to change those light blubs on the 12' ceilings, painting, etc...That’s a big ladder. We have one at work. I have 15 and 24 ft extension ladders. They are a piece of cake to handle compared to a 12 A frame
I probably would have got a 10 for a 12ft ceiling…I'll need it to change those light blubs on the 12' ceilings, painting, etc...
With my discount it was a $25 difference. I'll see if I like it.I probably would have got a 10 for a 12ft ceiling…
I have some bulbs in the lobby at work that are probably about 12ft,maybe more. I do them with an 8footer. I hate moving the monster ladder. Lol If it really is a 12ft finished ceiling you may be to close to set it upWith my discount it was a $25 difference. I'll see if I like it.
We had a 5 ft ladder I used for most everything in a office/ house environment. I would rather stand on the top of it, not allowed, then haul out the combo ladder.....8ft a frame extension combo...I have some bulbs in the lobby at work that are probably about 12ft,maybe more. I use the 6 ft for most stuff in the office at work. I think the cieling is 9ft or close. The 8 fits, but if you swing the cover down from a light fixture, the ladder is in the way. If I do need an 8, I usually grab the 250 rated. The 300 is too much like work lugging aroundWe had a 5 ft ladder I used for most everything in a office/ house environment. Some areas getting swarmed started like a week ago. None at our place before we left. Hope it stays that wayHope they will be gone by the time I get there.....
