No, clean it up also... If you don't do it now, you won't get to it after it's installed...

You've put so much time into the Fargo, take the time to make the engine look new also....
I will leave floor pans off, and drive it to where i can wash engine up, then into shop to detail it. I need it to move.

Possibly be going through that on the craigslist mud flaps, sent the guy a PMO a few weeks ago and he never got it, said I am going today to see if it was cashed and by who. Crickets

If it wasn't cashed by crickets, maybe the cicadas cashed it.... :D

Isnt that a form of fraud? If the postal service is used to commit a crime its a federal offence.

I had a guy once ask me to pay in advance for a 440 engine that he led me to believe was ready to pick up... He wanted me to pay for it and he would have 'his guy' pull it so I could come back again to pick it up...

He gave me the old, "I'm a good guy" story...

So I told him, IF I do pay for it in advance, I will send him a postal money order in the mail.... Since it's out of state, it will be a federal offense if he doesn't come through with the engine... After that, he backed off on paying in advance...

He never did get back with me to pick the engine up....

LOL I kind of sold a engine once! That was a freaking mess. Funny ending though.

Rumor amongst the old timers is insurance dropped them. And no other company will cover it
I heard the same rumor circulating, no idea if it is true or not. You would think insurance at the end of the day is just math. Somebody should offer coverage if price is right? If true and no one will it is just a darn shame and yet another American classic event is lost.

I finally got my money back from the guy that ripped me off on ebay for the video card...

It was like pulling teeth... I got proof from the post office that the package that was supposedly "delivered" to me was not in my name or address on the label and Paypal sent me a notice that they ruled against me...

So I got on the phone with them and had to ***** her out.... Asking if they actually picked up a phone and tried to verify my information??? She tried to tell me that the two screen prints that I got from the Post office supervisor weren't enough and I needed them to email me an "internet form"... WTF is an "internet form"???? Do they make this up as they go along????

So I told her to cross check the address on the package in the screen shot from the post office global positioning to my address for the order in different screens and they can see that it is not the same... She put me on hold for a few, then came back and said that they decided to rule in my favor and they sent me a confirmation stating that....

It was a long hard fight, but in the end I got my money back...
paypal buyer protection is a fing joke these days.

Was that the slant 6 that the known FABO scammer tried to rip you off on???? I remember that one...
Yup, he showed up at Carlisle to make it right after all that. Gave him quite an experience in front of a crowd. Got my money though in the long run and a crapload of entertainment that day. Believe Mitch was watching also.

He pm'ed me to get your spot so he could pay you back....

You did a good thing to embarrass him for not paying you in the first place... He deserved it....

Then Steve dragged me into that slam him thread! The gift that kept on giving for a few years! Hey I did give him a bottle of water after he paid me........
