The wife just came home. (4 or 5 hours earlier than she usually does) Some old lady brought a hand grenade to City Hall for disposal. Her husband passed and brought it back from Nam and she didn't want it. She should have just called. The friggin' bomb squad would have came to her house and safely disposed of it. Now, every city employee there left the building. LMFAO!

Bet more likely than not its a practice or dummy grenade, but of course, that's not a chance to take with a high level of confidence...

Tree trimmer finished up and it's officially done!!
A lot of time and sweat, but it looks great!!
Our current house goes on the market in two weeks.
Need to move some stuff out of here to the new place...de-clutter the basement.
Going to have Good Will come pick up the basement family room furniture...yep she bought a new set.

Speaking of which I just cut and pasted my historical note to a word processor before the thread it is in gets blown up or locked down.

I should get going. paint brush to clean. Make dinner, and go help some neighborhood kids who want to make the JV volleyball team this fall.
 
I been looking over my shoulder for Chris all day! Driving Demon to work caliper bolt either sheared or backed out, caliper dropped. I heard a thump thump thump, I hit brakes to figure out WTF, right front locked up and car dove hard right. Got stopped, cleaned out my shorts, threw it in reverse to free up rotor, then drove on in to work using tranny for brakes. Tire went very flat right before job site. Turns out caliper busted rim. Tire wouldn’t even hold air. Called tow company, Demon on rollback. Arghh. My goal this afternoon is to not be totally trashed before Jodi gets off work. Thus far looks like an epic fail in the making!

Had a 8x20 foot dock section for sale. Guy shows up with a trailer totally unsuitable for the task at hand. And absolutely nothing to secure it. Going to haul it 3 hours. I gave him a couple chains,a strap and a bear trap.
Another piece of junk outta my yard and one piece less to mow around.
