Stop in for a cup of coffee

Wish I was doing Hershey today... Looks like low 70'sand the rain they originally wanted is out of the forecast. I'm probably not getting there at all unless I go Sat before work. While doable, that is way too rushed. Really need 3 days there. 2 for the swap area and Saturday to see the actual car show. They can still see lots of cool cars any day though. The car corral (for sale) wraps most of the way around on the road that is normally the main entrance to the stadium, park etc.

I rolled in early to the diner and the place is super busy. Everything had a for sale sign in the window. Saw a 61 Olds F85 convertible with V8 in the parking lot for sale. $14,000

That sucks. I wouldn't care much about newer equipment. The old stuff he had for years would piss me off.
Yes/no.

the model 60, he bought just a few years ago but rarely had it running enough for him to enjoy it.

he spent the last year of his life finding excuses to drive this new one.

Most of all the other equipment he’d owned for decades, we were forced to sell off back in June. We all managed to chip in and keep some of the rarer, most useful items.

What diner is that? The show is actually put on by the Antique Auto Club. So you will see a lot of very early stuff there. But also plenty of ‘Classics’ from 70’s etc. What you won’t see is the modern car lot section like the almost new Chargers and Challengers that show up at Carlisle

Hershey Pantry... right on the main drag

Not familiar with that one, but I see where it's at. A lot has changed over the years. I graduated from Milton Hershey in '82. Could be new, changed name, or bad memory, lol

Last time I was up here they still did tours at the actual factory... lol.

Hoppy. Make sure the date on the lap Top is set correctly....good morning

I was to go today but the guy I was going with caught the Covid and then it was to rain so I withdrew my leave

Ahhh.. that sucks

I've got a boatload of use or lose so I took a day
I should have took a day, but supposed to give 2 weeks notice and was just getting back from covid. They were supposed to pay out my remaining days for when I was off, but didn’t. So still have a few available….

I’m sure my supervisor would give me the day if I called right now, but he has no control on the payout. New guy in HR would likely screw me out of OT pay and I would end up working Saturday for straight time

I am pretty fortunate here that I can do pretty much as I want. I have been here long enough I have that
