If I clean up the pole and get it running. It just needs rewired.Wow, Those barber poles are going for decent money. Shhhh! Don't say pole too loud around Hoppy! LOL
Oh ya had to tell him...thanks!!All your photos are saved here in "your attachments" in your profile. LOL
Don't forget the tensioner.KARL I bought a timing chain last night.
Having it sent direct to you.
I'm almost embarrassed to say, they are a company called treadwright. Their claim is they are a tire recycler, out of Texas that makes remold, opposed to retread tires. I admit the tires are 4 years old, but I looked up my records and only have 11k miles on them. I Should have been more cautious, but I had bought a set in the past locally for a little dakota I had at the time, and they were ok. All in all I was out 40 bucks to mount a spare tire I had on that rim. Just sucks I was 2 hours from home when It happened. Luckily insurance covered the tow. So anyways, lesson learned. Looking at mickey Thompsons currently. As they are a 50k mile tire with a similar tread.Look like bfg. I’d still run em. Thinking it was rapid deflation, shredding happens when you try to get off road from 70mph.
Keep the pole clean! If I clean up the pole and get it running. It just needs rewired.
I've seen them go for over 5k

Yesterday the wife had herself a "garage sale find", a cuckoo clock, sold in Germany, doesn't work. So I know what I have on my plate in the near future as a project, never worked on one.
Maybe the bird just needs some seeds for breakfast
Buddy Ted and I are off to Prairie du Chein, Wisc. today for a Starlight bourbon barrel pick release at Stark's. The owner of Starlight will be there and they are giving away a bottle from his personal collection. It should be a hoot!
Do the weights and chains just wind a spring? Or are they the actual mechanism assisted by gravity that operates the clock?
Not sure, but think there's no spring, weights run from bottom to top. I know there's an actual shut off so it doesn't cuckoo at night. Trying not to let it take over my weekend, lots to do before "honey do's"
