Stop in for a cup of coffee

Ever take a ftermarket amp out of a 2000's vehicle? Man way to much wire and splices everywhere! Need to get some more rachem splices, ran out used 30 or so yesterday and no where near done. Have to love the monster speaker wire going to the factory 18 gauge wire. Sure that helped. This guy liked gadgets. Low jack, signal amplifiers, filters, after market (jacobs) ignition. Just found out the person I bought it from has a set of NOS headers for it for $400. Wish I knew that before replacing the exhaust pipes and muffler.
Except for the look. Headers on a street truck are not needed.

I know want it stock myself. Had to take a break on the trans issue, got everything adjusted. Dean came by with his good scanner, ordered a speed sensor for it. Few small interiour things mentioned above and the elect door lock on pass side today and hopefully done. AFTER driving my Uber duties since the Firechicken sucks in the rain!

Good Morning Everyone. Snow flurries here today. 36 and windy at the moment. Testing went pretty well last night......until the end. Took a nasty elbow/forearm to the guts. I thought I broke ribs on the lower right side, but today it feels further forward than that. Not feeling good today at all. Will be a short day here today.

Hard to like that. Get well.

Ouch....

Hard to tell with ribs.. hope it's just some bruising

Instructors said - you will likely have some bruising tomorrow. I replied, just on the inside. It wasn't malicious; just timing and positioning. The part that bothers me most is I should have blocked it.

Cold 45 degree morning here on the hill, small shower system showed up today at near 9 am, clearing up by noon 52 for the high.
Another Friday is here, last day to box up and label swap meet goodies.

Have a good day everyone, fuel those bodies this morning!! We all will need it i believe.

Oh, make no mistake, i will do that again! This is martial arts; bound to happen. I now have to up my training too, world competition in Korea is 10 months away.

Wet and cold in San Diego? That 70 and ocean spray?

"Mom, we got snow last night." I says. "Yeah, sure we did." was her response. 10 or 11 years old I was, living 30 miles up the beach from San Diego, 20 minute walk from my favorite body surfing beach . I made a snow man in the front yard and put it in the freezer to show my Dad who was working out in the desert and would be home that Friday night. 50° right now, expected high 85°.

I could go for another Ranchero :D. All the fun stuff for the Windsor motors out there now, I'd have to have ladder bars all the way to the front bumper to get it to hook up :steering::lol:

That one had a 427 in it.
Just say good bye to those shock towers to get that FE in there . Flat inner fenders look pretty stylish anyway .
'64 Comet here in town had an FE in it. Builder did what I had thought about for such a swap. Built mounting brackets on the outside of the newly flattened inner fender for the top mount of coil-overs and retained the rest of the OE suspension.

Yep, That FE is a hulk. Straight axle all the way back then. Now days coyote would work just fine. I hope that old ranchero is still around racing Nostalgia classes somewhere. We discussed it not long ago and someone thought they spotted it a few years ago.
