Ya, sorry fellas I didn't read through the last page. I am busy moderating on at least 3 sites and I just asked a simple question and got a answer.
Don't be pissed off at the government, you work for them.

My 2015 VW gets 48 MPG. 32 in town. AND it is not a slug to drive.....
Yup.. I think VW is still paying fines for that engineering.
Yeah. Article and show claims it to be a 100 percent accurate restoration. However, ALL Max wedges, 413 &426s, got dual carb Cross ram intakes, High rise exhaust manifolds that are taller than the valve covers, and NONE of them came with chrome valve covers or single air filter elements. Also, note the distributor, not a factory distributor. And if you zoom in, there’s no AAQA on the front of the block.Street Wedge?
Wrong, I don’t work for them.Which makes him one of them....

Yeah article is definitely wrong. Still a nice car. But not a true 100 point car. Or mill.Yeah, check the video out. He refers to the engine as a Street Wedge and notes the distributor is non-factory although not as thoroughly as you just did. I like his reference as "not doing a proper restoration but a nice street driver".
I hit a good workout this morning. I feel so much better when I do that.

I should message him, see if he wants my original 413 Max wedge block that I have sitting here
I ran a mile today... Finally I said, "Lady you can keep your purse..."
