Local news just reported that dogs and cats are catching a disease from their owners .30 plus percent of the animals have tested positive.
Here is were it gets stupid. All the animals have recovered,. So pets that never received a stab got the Disease , but all recovered naturally.
So is it just a made up story for attention.

Watsonville. Cali. I spent half a summer there.
Nothing like fresh picked. I have a few bags frozen from last june. Local berries that are a little bigger than a good sized grape. They are ripe to the center and deliciously sweet.

Before all the issues at the sea ports, much of the produce around here went straight to a ship bound for points across the big pond. Farmers received top $$$ for the foreign bound produce. Some may have changed product to make up for the loss of income

The cannabis growers are offering stupid money to rent agricultural land. “Conventional “ crop growers cannot compete for leasing acreage. We have seen several instances whereas the landowner can literally pay the penalty for breaking lease, rent the land to cannabis growers and still make more than they were before. While it is hard to watch, it is in fact capitalism at its best.

the owner/farmer that farmed across the street from my plant, if the broccolli, lettuce, cabbage, whatever price wasn't to his liking, he just took the discs to it.
