Stop in for a cup of coffee

I worked directly across the street from there. If you go there it definately has a presence there that is earie. I used to do Aux security forces at the main gate since I was a MAA also. One day a car of japaneese tourist pull up which is typical trying to get on the base. Guy askes where the Arizona was, other guard tells him right where your daddy left it. Turned out to be some big wig official. Never saw that guard again! True story.

that’s hilarious

It's Turbo Tuesday!

Good morning :D

Was pretty funny, NOW Man I was interviewed like 5 times about it! Not a good thing when you are wearing a 45 and are representing the base. Trust me that one is prob the best known Navy base the US has.

We had some rain :D probly didn't amount to about .01" but I heard it so it wasn't just a hoax
Could be more later this morning. Looks of the radar, there may have been some tunderstorm activity out in the desert.

The author put Pinto on the Muscle Car List? :wtf:
They were fun to drive, but not Muscle Car fun.

When I was a junior in high school a girl had a Pinto with a 351 stuffed into it, several performance parts and a slap shifter. She knew how to drive it too, won all the time out on Bodenhammer Rd. where everybody raced.

That or Pensacola. That’s even funnier than when I tossed a two star off post at 0530

That's funny! We used to see that building you worked in when we went up the hill to the Exchange/Commissary while stationed at Barbers Pt. I always thought it looked "secret squirrel".

Came across this article the other day. Kinda cool read...I bet some of these would be worth some $$ regardless of the anemic performance.

15 Muscle Cars That Were Built For The Junkyard
Bit of a stretch to round out the list -some of those were never supposed to be 'muscle' cars. Most obvious -the Pinto - really? Then they had the base model Charger SE, but showed a pic of an SRT...
