Stop in for a cup of coffee

This is the same guy who insisted another designer didn't have to quarantine for five days after his wife tested + for covid last Monday....

The guy was about to leave after telling the rest of us, then he walks in and says that he doesn't have to quarantine, just wear a mask when he's not in his cubicle... Then that Thursday, I start getting sick - three days after that incident....
:wtf: :bs_flag:

Well off to fastenal, need my yearly order of dist smalls! And if they have another ground brush. Your best friend for grounding.

If i had the choice between grain bins or sea cans, think i would go with sea cans. Maybe one grain bin and several sea cans.
Looked at that too, it’s nearly impossible to get sea conexes right now with the supply chain issues. So they’ve gone stupid high up in price here

Wtf ! This is why i was against making companies immune for liability for Covid related outbreaks.

So I got a crazy idea but the wife definitely won’t go for it. I can buy several grain bins, 2-5k a piece, set them up, connect walk ways between them, have a multi grain bin home where each grain bin is its own room/function. With current material cost, I could do it all, minus plumbing and electrical for about $65,000-80,000 and have roughly 5,000 sq ft.
How would you insulate them? They are round, right?

You are thinking outside the box. I see a lot of shipping containers around here. Easy to transport and they can make pretty spiffy offices for construction sites.

Hanging around the house, I see the delivery truck left 30 minutes ago, think he might make it today. Ordered fans from Amazon, 2 20" box fans cost $33 out the door cause I had a $25 gift card from work (Christmas). Now I should only need conduit or some kind of sleeve to get the gas line, power out, power in lines through the side of the generator shed.

Getting my truck washed. And waxed. Too freaking much work for me to do. Well I have before and will again but I'm lazy today.

neighbor does spray foam. The type he uses gives an r18 rating on the walls, r28 for the roof, fire and water proof. Goes on 6 inches thick for the walls, 10 inches for the roof.

I just bought three of them? Right at 3800 delivered? No problem.
3800 a piece? Currently they’re 4100 plus delivery for us here. A year ago when I got quote, they were 1400 plus delivery. But bare in mind, the further away from a port you are, the more expensive they are. If I could haul them, or find someone too, I can get them from up by Chicago for 1/3 of the price.

Spent four hours with a sidewalk scraper and steel snow shovel clearing a 1/4-inch ice off the driveway.
Why did I go lift at the gym this morning?? :BangHead:
