This is the same guy who insisted another designer didn't have to quarantine for five days after his wife tested + for covid last Monday....
The guy was about to leave after telling the rest of us, then he walks in and says that he doesn't have to quarantine, just wear a mask when he's not in his cubicle... Then that Thursday, I start getting sick - three days after that incident....
Do you know the definition of a smartass???
Someone who can sit on an ice cream cone and tell you what flavor it is without looking....
Haha too windy and too wet here for that. Plus HUGE fire risk
Looked at that too, it’s nearly impossible to get sea conexes right now with the supply chain issues. So they’ve gone stupid high up in price hereIf i had the choice between grain bins or sea cans, think i would go with sea cans. Maybe one grain bin and several sea cans.
Wtf ! This is why i was against making companies immune for liability for Covid related outbreaks. This is the same guy who insisted another designer didn't have to quarantine for five days after his wife tested + for covid last Monday....

How would you insulate them? They are round, right? So I got a crazy idea but the wife definitely won’t go for it. I can buy several grain bins, 2-5k a piece, set them up, connect walk ways between them, have a multi grain bin home where each grain bin is its own room/function. With current material cost, I could do it all, minus plumbing and electrical for about $65,000-80,000 and have roughly 5,000 sq ft.
There is a multi million dollar home in Dana point multi story built out of hay bales....looks niceHaha too windy and too wet here for that. Plus HUGE fire risk

Or spray foam
I just bought three of them? Right at 3800 delivered? No problem.Looked at that too, it’s nearly impossible to get sea conexes right now with the supply chain issues. So they’ve gone stupid high up in price here
You are thinking outside the box. I see a lot of shipping containers around here. Easy to transport and they can make pretty spiffy offices for construction sites. So I got a crazy idea but the wife definitely won’t go for it. neighbor does spray foam. The type he uses gives an r18 rating on the walls, r28 for the roof, fire and water proof. Goes on 6 inches thick for the walls, 10 inches for the roof. How would you insulate them? They are round, right?
3800 a piece? Currently they’re 4100 plus delivery for us here. A year ago when I got quote, they were 1400 plus delivery. But bare in mind, the further away from a port you are, the more expensive they are. If I could haul them, or find someone too, I can get them from up by Chicago for 1/3 of the price.I just bought three of them? Right at 3800 delivered? No problem.
