Stop in for a cup of coffee

I was just readin' a little while ago about some solar flares that really boogered up a bunch of SpaceX/Tesla satellites recently, like 40 of them.

Yes. 40 of the 49 from the last launch.

Since they own the launch platform seems it's not a big deal... curious what the terrestrial outtage might be if any or if it just increases some latency

I usually make an attempt to watch those Vandenberg launches. When it woke me out of bed it was 30 miles down range :BangHead:
Beautiful and clear that morning too.

So I think there’s something wrong with my wife!
First: the other day, I offered to part out the dart or sell it whole. It was a moment of weakness but she immediately said no. She flatly said I’m never to sell it. Interesting for her cause she’s acted like she’s hated it this entire time.

then she balked at the idea of me selling the Polara.

now today, she asked me how long it’d be until we could take a family cruise in it once and if I get access to the shop again once the legal stuff is worked out. She hates road trips.

then she asked if I’d ever be okay with letting someone else finish it.

I feel like I’m being set up here.

Is she pregnant????:poke:

Could use some help on the Heep's drivetrain.
There's no spec in the FSM, but Timken says that .021" axle movement is OK. Large AMC 20, no adjusterment.
Left side measured .014 and the right .018"
Pull 'em and get new bearings on them? Right brake shows something is seeped. It's not on the lining but could be axle grease?

Diff itself looked really nice. Didn't seem to be any play to speak of. Not that I know what I'm doing here. Just tried to move the unit with a pry bar.

Yeah. Not to go down the rabbit hole, but Google EMP and the grid.

Love Malkovich from that scene in Red

"Frank, how many times have I told you? You cannot trust the system! I told you when you're in the system, they switch the flip and you're done. Man, satellites, cell phones, chips, net, the web, the dentist."

Well all I can say or rather will say, I wouldn’t mind going backwards a hundred years. I think it’d weed out a bunch of pussies

That reminds me, I gotta pull my dana 60 back apart. I forgot to put the spider gear shims in when I rebuilt it. :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:
