Got a little snow...

Got the heads pulled off and the replacement set painted orange. Borrowing a valve spring tool tomorrow, then reassembly.

Got the Valiant up off the floor and pulled the tires off. Started cleaning 58 years of grease and dirt out to get down to the parts so I can photograph and measure everything before disassembly.

18V Milwaukee 1/2" impact wrench worked like a charm. Those lugs hadn't been moved in a while.

Inline tube metal brake lines

I put a Restored KH setup on my 66. It stops as good as new modern vehicles...With a sweet duel diaphragm booster...

Nice.
I thought about doing disk in front.
Figure I'll wait to see how it stops once I get the new motor in. Should be about 2-3 years down the road .

Well worth it in the long term, going big bolt pattern or staying small?

Cool.
I'm such a freaking rookie at this. Going to call in my uber-gearhead brothers for a build party weekend soon.
As far as I know, there is only one booster setup that works for our early A's. Wolfie got one and it worked great.. I lost the link.....

Staying small. I really like the old school aluminum slots I have and the stance of the car. It was a PITA because the 14" wheels and 9" drums required a "special order" which took forever (140 days)

I templates the booster dimensions to check fitment. There's no squirter but I do have a transmission cooler so if the booster is an issue I'll just go with the dual pot master and forgo the power. Figure compared to the manual all-drum it'll still be a big upgrade.

I have the info on the setup Tim hooked me up with. I'll pull it up and post tomorrow.
My niece kicked my butt today.
