Stop in for a cup of coffee

Can't like that. But glad your getting something accomplished - even if its learning the hard way.

My memory from using the usual fel-pro set is to get the cork end gaskets hooked into the little fingers.
Just a bead in each corners where the cork doesn't go.
The standard gaskets have rings seals around each port. Hold them in place with plastic buttons that help line them up.

The most difficult part is getting all of the bolts started and going around working them down. Try to do the tightening following the sequence in the shop manual. It should help get them snugged up evenly. Dual planes are a PIA. Sometimes just have to use a box wrench 1/4 turn at a time. Have fun. LOL. Never mind. Just make a zen thing. Left foot right foot and eventually you get there.
yup. I think the manifold is a teeny bit warped too. not much, but enough where the fabric would take it up and the metal wont.

Golden anniversary, very nice, that is a good looking car.
It is described as a big block car, has a newer aluminum headed 383 with a purple shaft cam, obviously a pushbutton Torqueflite and a later 3:23 Sure grip. The paint is mostly original. I contacted the seller for more info.

It wasn't 15 seconds after the final gun in Inglewood that the gunshots on the more populous side of the valley started  Brat in Law must have been busy eating tri tip or top block and missed the text to tell me when half time was over, but I only missed 18 seconds of the beginning of second half

Morning.
That game sucked . I fell asleep at the start of the fourth quarter. It was sooo entertaining .:mob:

You never see these come up for sale. Not for me though.
