Had issue with overcharging on startup. 18 volts for about a full minute. Then would settle down to 14. Replaced regulator. Fixed it. Of course the defective one was new as well

It’s a crap shoot these days. I gave a buddy a brand new, still in plastic high torque starter that I’d gotten over the winter to borrow for his 413. Yeah, locked up out of the box.
Floor patches all done. Crack in firewall all welded up. Front e-brake cable replaced. No more welding today. Shop is hot. Warms up nice when sun is out.
The black one is the defective one...
