When I lived out in the real desert, we looked at rain as a disturbance to our normal existence. "Ah man! I just washed the truck yesterday and now it's gonna rain!". Now it's "If I wash the truck that should ensure the rain." 
No tellin' what sorta critters might be livin' in there

They made me pressure wash the Satellite in the middle of the night because of gypsy moth concerns. At the produce check in needles. Turned around and went to needles at 3 in the morning looking for a do it yourself car wash.That could introduce some non-native species of wildlife to SoCal

LOl It was. The rear quarters came from upstate new york. Hoppy and I drove from his place up to get them.....
He is firm on a grand.................hmmmm
