Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well today is bittersweet, I handed the reigns over to my protege this morning. He is chairing all the meetings and has responsibilities for the whole enchilada. I am going to focus on special projects until I ride off into the sunset in September. They have asked me to stay until then to ensure a smooth transition. Frankly I think I will go bat poop crazy if I do not figure out something to occupy me!
**** Hub?

Ah, gotcha. I thought with me visiting the girlfriend, you were referring to a beaver or kitty kat...
If it has teeth watch out.

It would be a complete and total train wreck. I would simply sit back push mute and just listen.

Somebody needs to approach discovery channel with a proposal. Everyone wears a body camera and just go through their day.... the "show" is the "Hollywood Squares" of videos all running at the same time.

Incriminating but I like it.

And if you can’t tell, I’m still in challenge theory mode. I spent HOURS before a panel of BILLIONAIRES yesterday explaining procedures, problems, solutions and theories.
Should have seen the looks I got when I challenged the notion of adding an unneeded software package to their purchase plans. We already have an updated program under contract doing it and their own data showed the cost would be 250,000 a year to implement and they would have zero efficiency boost, in fact, the program they wanted to buy adds historically 10-15 percent more time. And oh btw way, we’re still gonna keep the existing program and use Both programs simultaneously.

so I asked the question, if we already have the leading software that’s up to date, that does the things the proposed software does, and it’s gonna cost more money AND time to use, with no impactful return, why the hell spend the money there, why not spend it on something that would result in a direct labor time savings and thus more products produced and more products sold....

you could have heard a pin drop from a mile away.

Desert weather soundin' kinda good after the last few days here. Looking at the NWS, the desert weather will be here next week, low 80s :realcrazy:.
