Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning morning it's a Friday for those keeping track.
Cheryl's last Friday and she seems pretty happy!!
She did work though until 7pm last night...not surprise.
I didn't say a word because I knew a. it wouldn't do any good and b. it was the last night she could do it.

Well that sucks. Yeah I've started using more PPE when I'm outside although I forgot to during an unplanned work session outside and got a bit too much sun

Hope it clears up through the day
Probably should.

On another note, I’m gonna return the valve springs id ordered. I ordered the normal factory Edelbrock RPM valve springs that they use in all their out of the box RPM heads. They’re supposedly good for .600 lift. Well I got looking at my cam instructions yesterday, they call for that plus a spring rate of 340 pounds minimum, the edelbrocks are 295 pound rated....

So I’m going with a set of valve springs from Trick flow, 350 Pound rated, and upgrading to 10 degree retainers and locks, which are stronger yet. And cheaper than the Edelbrock stuff that I’ve somehow misplaced.

I never had allergies until a few years ago. Makes my nose work like.....

And C, telling her what to do is never a good plan! Hah! Hope she has a totally unproductive day and a glorious evening. Kick the Governor for us!

Santa Maria BBQ Outfitters, a friend of mine, COSTCO sells his pits. The purists round here only burn the local Red Oak .
Great when you can get it cheap . Like when a large branch falls on the cab of your other friend's Peterbuilt on a jobsite

How do you get away with no deer fence? We do that and the deer would wipe us out!
the fence goes up this weekend, its a 6 ft dog pen, I have treats and clover about 30 yards away they hit, yes, I learned this 12 or so years ago, squirrels are the hardest on our garden, they get thinned out.

Squirrels land in our crock pot, other than George the resident squirrel Jodi has now named. The two of them have some kind of agreement as they been hanging out in each other’s space. She ran him out of the shop the other day. He gets in there I drop the hammer on him, name or no name!
