The president was in town yesterday... 
So it's not bad enough that the new summer road destruction/construction is going on, we need to close more streets down for his motor cade to move around... They had parts of Lake Shore Drive closed while he was travelling....
I stayed away from downtown while he was here...

I filled up for $4.27 last week at my best local station, and now it's $4.75 a gallon...
There's some stations over $5 per gallon now...

Gas is 394 a gallon here this morning...
My new truck has gas in it that was 67 cents cheaper.. glad I have my little street ride, 85 mpg.

Think the last load of coal delivered here was $240 a ton. I usually use around five a year.
Yeah, and they're talking on the news radio that people are opening up the fire hydrants around here to deal with the heat already...
It was only 90° here yesterday... What are they going to do this summer when it gets hotter???

Lake Meade and other water reservoirs are drying up on the west side of our country and we're wasting it by opening fire hydrants...

We get our water from Lake Michigan... The water level there is rising...
There's some houses in a community on the border of Indiana and Michigan where they have some houses on the lake where the water level is rising and eroding their yards... They have to put large rocks in there to help slow down the erosion...
The people with the lake front property are complaining about the cost and want their neighbors that don't have that expensive lake view to help chip in for the cost....
You assholes bought the more expensive lake view property, you figure out how to deal with it yourselves.... It's not your neighbor's problem...
