Stop in for a cup of coffee

Speaking of records I scored tickets to what will be a GREAT concert Tuesday night. It's taking place at our local outdoor Ampitheater.
Three bands...Loverboy opens then REO Speedwagon then Styx is the finale. Looking forward to it all three in one concert.

I went to the same trio except Loverboy was Journey. It was a great concert

I'm going to go up to Dalat Viet Nam next week. Dalat is a city a little north and east of Saigon. The French originally built it as a resort/retreat for French troops back in the early 1900's. Dalat is cooler than most Vietnamese cities as it sits at about 5000ft elevation. Lots of big lakes and mountains close by, and lots of things to see and do, including amusement parks, a zip line park, and a long rollercoaster through the woods. Should be fun. Round trip airfare and hotel 3 days for two, about $350 USD. Gotta love VN....

WOW I'd do that one also.
Beach Boys were coming back through in September...we're going again.
Wife got four tickets second row for $165 total...cheap!!

Three of my favorites!! I didn't even know this was happening until yesterday.
We were sitting out on the patio last night having a few drinks and listening to their music.
Wife got on Stub Hub and shouted she bought tickets 10 rows off the stage.
A little pricey, but WTF we're going and going to enjoy every minute of it.

I saw Loverboy at Oregon Jam 1981, Heart and Blue Oyster Cult also played, great concert but they pulled the plug on Heart early as a lot of people were dropping due to the temps on the floor (and other things).
I've never seen Styx but I have seen Dennis Deyoung, great show.

Back in the early 80's I dated a gal who was a local DJ for a rock station here.
She got free tickets to all the concerts in Kansas City.
We went to a lot of concerts those three years what a great time it was.

Spent way more time than I wanted to yesterday pressure washing our front walk and driveway pad. Today I'll pressure wash the shop pad, and a couple others. We are hosting the HOA meeting on Sunday so trying to at least have things presentable, unreal how much pollen and dirt gets ground into the concrete, had it looking a burnt orange color, wifey was bitching lol!

The Ozzie tribute is done by a local band and it only cost $20. This lady type woman friend of mine wants to go.

The NYC area was great to grow up in had to see at lest 100 different bands, A radio station used to hold fairly known bands at Belmont race course on the ground. Was called Part in the Park, dam tickets were maybe $10 each. Every other Saturday I think they were.

When I was in high school we had a local band White Clover.
They all were a couple years older and had gone to my high school.
They came and played for a couple high school dances charged us 50 cents to go.
They started playing regional and had some sucess.
They changed their name to KANSAS and the rest was history.

I need to get my coffee down and get to the show. You guys be good while I'm gone!:lol:
