Replace the vehicle the radiator is attached to.
I want too!! But i finally pay it off in 3 weeks. I really don’t want another payment.

that said, it may get A certain Gen 3 hemi conversion in short order if this keeps up

Oh, i missed the part about the new rad. So, heater core cant be it, if there is a water valve that bypasses the core, and its closed, could back up some coolant flow. Airlock? If it was vacuum filled its highly unlikely. Water pump with poor flow at idle. Belt installed incorrectly, maybe turning bass-ackwards.

All that tested and or verified. I did have him refill it with new coolant, again, He said his machine does it while under pressure to keep air out, so I’m guessing that means vacuum but I’ll ask.

Completely agree. If it was me, I’d sell it for what I can and walk away. Wife won’t let me sell it. Says we’ve spent too much on it since we bought it to get rid of it. Granted I could list it for 10k and it’d sell in a minute. Dealers have offered me over 15 for it. With 278,000 miles…

I'd be tempted to sell that problem to a dealer unless it quits costing you $$.

So drove it home, it didn’t get near as hot, 215 this time. So he did something, even if he’s not sure what, to improve it.

Well, didnt replace starter. Cut a few acres of grass instead.
