Stop in for a cup of coffee

Races will likely take all day now, couple hour intermission so everyone can plug their cars in and charge the batteries

And the power grid will go down from overload during every pit stop when all the racers are plugged in to charge...

I think I'm getting a cold... My lungs seem to be more congested the last few days and my breathing is struggling some...

It used to be the noise that closed racetracks. Now it will be the close neighborhoods that cant run their AC the day of the race!!

Monday!

Good morning :D

Rule number 1: never add up how much you’ve spent in parts for your Dart
Rule number 2: if you break rule 1, don’t EVER tell your wife haha

Well Jodi about ran over two guys at a gas station in Mo. she finished fueling, checked all her rigging, then went in for a coffee. Came out jumped in truck, fired it up and two guys bailed out from between truck and trailer like rats! She stopped and they both started laughing, turns out they were up underneath taking pictures of front end geometry on Cuda. She did not see them because of bed and dresser loaded on truck! It is typical drag car front end, total hodgepodge of parts and nothing even remotely looks like Mopar! Blend of Hemi Denny, QA1 and Hodgkiss (sp?) and Wilwood. And of course the obligatory old school chain torque strap! But it has weathered many a wheel stand and more than one panic lift off the throttle from the moron driving it. Giving the Cuda some much needed attention is on the horizon. The last launch put a nice crack right up the center of front left fender. I keep meaning to stop drill it! Hah!
