I am getting my bottle in from Cali today. It's a craft rye from Leopold Bros. made in their 3 chambered still. I hope it's good.

Make sure ya put ur still in a remote and hard place to git to. Somewhere the wind don't blow the smoke right into the nabor's house. Nabors will either raid yur place for the shine or call the revenuers  Thoughtful tips from The Fox Fire Book

 too bad home distilling is illegal in the US. Allowed in Missouri though. LOL

Good morning! 12 degrees on the drive to work this morning. Suppose to be in the 70's this weekend!

When I was a kid and living down in Tim's neighborhood, our neighbors, an elderly Greek couple did 150 gallons of wine in their basement every other year I think. That was the legal limit at the time, so I was told.

That's ok. You can craft brew beer or wine legally but distilled spirits is a no without a license. You can get a fuel producers permit but what fun is that. You can bet someone will stop in to check on your ethanol production a quart at a time stored in small oak barrels.

I have a book about fuel production round here somewhere too  Amazing what organic materials can be used for fuel grade ethanol.

Hell, you're right, Mike. Evidently what I heard is wrong.
TTBGov - Penalties for Illegal Distilling,)%20and%205053(e)).
Yet, 10 miles from here there grows 100 acres of a formerly illegal intoxicant herb to be named later, but the State and County get their tax money, so game on  In another direction out by the old rock farm, our former Mayor has a sizable plantation of his own .

02 sensor pia could not get it out. We welded a bung near it and put a new one in long story. Kudo to Mitch nice breaking down at a guys with a lift and a welder.
Hoppy and Bride are on their way home. As for the Hoppy ride it was a total PIA. No matter what tool I tried or how hot I got the pipe and the O2 sensor it would not budge. Almost cut it in half with an air hammer trying to get it out even. Finally decided we would drill a new hole in the pipe nearby and put in a new 0'2 bung. Problem was we did not have a bung. So I fabricated a new O2 sensor bung. I took a large nut that looked to be around 18 mm. I cut it down smaller than it was initially. Then I locked it in the vise and I drilled it out to a larger size and tapped it with an 18 mm spark plug chaser. I cut a new hole in the exhaust pipe and welded in the fabricated '02 bung. Close enough to the old ones at the wiring reached. I told Hoppy not to tell anyone who welded it in there. We were each about 12 or 13 beers deep during this operation. After all of that fishing. LOL..

Karl just called with an update. They've tested several things and don't know what's goin on. He says he feels like it's a lung related issue, but they are testing his heart. He didn't sound confident about that. He sounded ok, he said he just doesn't have wind enough to basically even walk across the room.

Thanks Rob. What in the world could it be?

Sitting in the Court House lot waiting. I should have stayed home until I got a call.

Thanks Rob. They're checking to see if there's some issue with circulation not delivering sufficient O2. Some congestive issue.
