Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well I am the consumate thinker when it comes to building stuff, always thinking ahead always, two and three steps in preparation. As a result I always back cut door thresholds when framing walls doors etc. just makes the whole process easier. Simple to cut it out and maintains rigidity during build. So building wall for pocket door I did the usual back cut. Did I mention I now hate pocket doors? And yes I did in fact install the bottom plate upside down! Arghh! I am that kind of brilliant today!

Now your a cut above.:poke:

Not directed at anyone but just remember, taking credit for someone else’s work not only makes you a liar but a dick as well.

Come build my house for me haha

OK feeling better now. I'd been experiencing problems the last few weeks, so the wife finally convinced me to go in to talk with someone.
It didn't take long for an answer I was diagnosed with O.C.D.

Long day. Got brake job done. Man,i hate big wheels and spacers. Then off to visit mom this evening. 160 km round trip. Mom hasnt eaten in 72 hours. Then when we talked her in to eating, theres no connection between the brain and her hands. Takes a minute to pick something up and put it in her mouth. Nutrition and concentration are really connected. A little food and some juice and improvement was marginal, but almost instant. I hope this doesent continue.

Okay, so obviously change of plans for airfare today. Will be back at the airport around 3:00 p.m. for flight to Hanoi. But in this case we'll be staying overnight. In a hotel. Well, guess who they want to pay for that. I don't mind doing that, but I pointed out to them that someone else should not pay for their mistakes. Lol. Anyhow a hotel nearby the boyfriend's parents house outside of Hanoi is only 35 bucks for one night for two large rooms. Can't beat that I guess. I was only trying to school them on the fact that those who make mistakes are the ones that should be paying for them..

Sorry to hear Frank hope she improves soon.

And if you think all that airport and airfare stuff was stupid and embarrassing. Listen to this. Yesterday when we went up to Saigon in the morning around 7:00 a.m. we stopped at what we would know in America as a truck stop or car stop with toilets and food. So we ate breakfast there. The daughter went into the bathroom and left her purse there. She didn't realize it until around 4:00 p.m. later that day while we were in Saigon. Can you believe that? So on the way home around 5:00 p.m. we stopped at that location and asked. Sure enough, someone had found her purse. She got it back although minus her bank card and the key to her apartment in Saigon. Lol. Another lesson learned, or perhaps not learned.

Mostly they don't understand that virtue. The Vietnamese people are really very nice people and very friendly. But some of them are not as intelligent as I hoped that they would be.

Morning!
-14c with a bit of wind.
River started freezing over yesterday, going to freeze up quick. Firebird back in shop, a couple mechanical things to do, 5 gallons of fresh gas should help the cold starts. A dribble of sea foam helps too.
