Problem is, not that many golf courses in the south of the country where I live.

Orland Park, IL claims to be the worlds golf center...

I grew up in Orland Park, IL... It is right next to the town I live in now...

Played once ,only pissed me off. So quit . Played hockey instead.:canada:

My father in law was a doctor and avid golfer... He had a membership at the Detroit Golf Club, a very exclusive and snobby club in Detroit... Mayer Young was their first black member in the 60's and they didn't let women in until a while after that...

Back in the late 90's I was his guest and he showed me the handicap chart in the men's locker room and many of the Detroit Red Wings were on it toward the top... Apparently hockey is similar to golfing....

Like I said once you are knock out of the play offs you golfed. That's why the Red Wings were so good at golfing!

Hockey players make good golfers.

Those guys on the list at the Detroit Golf club were on the team during their Stanley Cup winning streak back in the late 90's....
