Thanks!! It’s a TCP urethane Base/ Clear system. Plan is to go with a black etching primer once all the welding and bare metal work done, then a high build grey, with a white primer sealer after block work. Then the color. Then the clear.Agreed! And will help hide any small imperfections also.
I like doing the blocking it's relaxing for me.Blocking is the hardest part if you ask me. Get a good 24" or so block.

Dura blocks are great well worth the money.Wow bought mine for $45 a few years ago.

I do all my mud and blocking by hand my arms and hands get sore using an air file.On tool I have that is great is a pneumatic board sander.
and good for grinding out spot welds for panel replacement great tool for sure.Another goodie, great for firewalls with all the protrusions.

I use 3/8 step? drill bits, goes right through them. Similar but a smaller pointand good for grinding out spot welds for panel replacement great tool for sure.
