Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Good morning everyone. Little warmer here overnight. 30's for the next 10 days. Crazy amount of salt on the roads. Checked the 660s last night. They are not finished drilled for ported vacuum. Need to look into where and what size holes to make that an option if I want when I get into tuning this sunmer. Right now manifold vacuum but I may need to help slowing the idle down.

Morning all checked the coffee pot and trying to determine if it is half full or half empty?? Either way I'll need more.

And you live on an Island! Are you getting rain?
Yes but not as much as Seattle, Olympic Penninsula mountains take the brunt, we are in a "rain shadow". No flooding from rain here but we did get a "super tide" that brought the bays up onto roads, peoples waterfront properties etc.

Well the Seahawks backed their way into the playoffs, thanks Detroit!!! I would be AMAZED if they got past San Francisco, 9er's are Purdy good lol!

Hey but they are in the playoffs.
College football is done we quit watching TCU-Georgia at halftime.
I don't like it when they run up the score almost seems disrespectful.

That flooding sucks glad you all dodged it. I think your pretty high on the island so guess it'd be pretty bad to get to you??
Been dry here for the most part for the past couple months. We need some rain.
On the other hand, we've had some really mild temps upper 40's to 50's.
Every warmer day is just one day closer to spring.

Earthquake/Tsunami would be the thing to sink some on the island. We are on a high spot 425 feet lol! I can't wait for it not to be dark when I get home, hate this time of year for that!

I have not, they are getting some rain down there for sure. Saturdays forecast for the football game....a soaker in San Fran

He was on yesterday or the day before discussing the power tour with Dukeboy.
I think Sparky is nuts unless he get some miles on that car first. New builds always have issues. My rule was always 1000 miles with zero issues before going to far.

Well Cheryl went and finally got an x-ray on her ankle she twisted a few days ago.
It has a slight fracture a very small chip on the weight bearing bone of her ankle.
My nurse practitioner daughter got her into an ortho Doc this morning. Hopefully nothing more than a boot for a couple weeks.
She's pissed been hurt for the most part since she retired last May hip, broken finger, covid, now this.
I told her the safe thing might be to go back to work.

Morning all, just a quick drive by before I head back for more teaching today. We got 1/2 of them qualified yesterday on pistol range. That is a good sign. Can’t wait to get home. I am whipped. (Que Karl) School training is exhausting, the audience is made up of all teachers or administrators, the law requires sixty hours of instruction and the great majority is all classroom (as it should be) Makes for very long days for folks like me that are not used to being inside all day. No surprise on college game SEC is hard to beat in any sport. Tried to watch some street outlaws when I got back to room last night but there were so many commercials I gave up. I remember now why we don’t have tv at home! Hah! We watch movies via streaming and gave up tv long ago.

Apparently, she needs more bubble wrap.

Spray foam works better.
