Stop in for a cup of coffee

Man the price of Mopar NOS orange boxes are getting crazy on flea bay Average around 150 now.

Had the daughter come over and level the gravel pad for the new container. Tell you what she knows her stuff. Took her a hour it would have taken me all day getting that grade right.

Good. They needed a good home. After I get that hoard I might/should have a bunch of "other" stuff in it.

I was talking to a friend that is heavy into Hemi stuff. Had a dual point question for him and I see stuff I send him the links. Well there were two 1970 Hemi Matched carbs for sale for 2K. He bought them, sent them out to get restored, another 2K. Man I asked him what they are worth he has already had offers over 8K on them. Wow I was blown away.

You know what adding a noise capacitor to them is probably a good idea with todays electronics like bluetooth. Wonder if there are issues with that.

I mean really, if nothing else, just use some single plastic connector covers.....what are they? Packard 56? I'm sketchy when you start talkin electrical parts. I'm still lookin though. Somebody has to offer that stuff since it's GM.

I found some cheapo two flag terminal ones that are ok but they just dont hold the smaller spade terminal used well.

That side is easy to find it is the other side that's a *****. Steve will need a ton of them I just need a couple for when I do a conversion for people. Couple of times a year maybe.
I know. I'm still lookin. Heck like I said, you can just use the plastic connector covers individually if nothing else. Anything's better than leaving them exposed. Somebody makes that damn connector though.

You find it I am sure it is appreciated. Stephan will be doing them in the ECU boxes. God knows I sent him a ton of bad ones.

Thats what I have been doing. I have some high grade Raychem ones used on aircraft I had around. Just one of those things. This is a great example for a 3 d printer. There is a guy working on the reverse light pins in the early column, he is done just looking for the right material. I guess there are a ton of choices.

How many millions of chevy pickups are being made? Somebody somewhere makes those connectors. Just need to figure out their specific name. But like I said, the junkyard has a ton. lol I'm still looking. If I know what the specific name of it is. Maybe Del will know.

I have no idea either. The junk yards here you have to buy the dist, not worth it for me. Every now and then I get one in cores and have stole them from it.

Rob how did that slant dual pint work out?
The one I modified? I've never tried it. It's finished. I thought about stabbin it in to see what happens. lol I have an NOS Mallory Double Life dual point for a slant six too. It has no vacuum advance so it's more race oriented. It's super cool, though.

Cheapest pickups I found are on rockauto. Like 15 bucks. Then shipping.
