Stop in for a cup of coffee

Another Mike here. Icetech what is that about? Everybody's screen name has a story.

Well.. for bout 15 years i used the name "RoadRebel" Then one of my buddies stole the name and is well known with it.. so i had to change, "Ice" was the name of the security AI the mainframes in the book "Neuromancer" and tech cause i'm a tech.. (computer tech after being a factory rat and machinist/fabricator for years when i was younger..) Not a great story but there it is..
P.S. i got used to waking up at 5am on the dot when working in factories and i swear to god i can't sleep past 5:15 without even an alarm going off now for 30 years... i go to work at 6am cause i go nuts sitting at home and work doesn't start til 8 (i own the place so i watch tv/have breakfast and relax) But WTF.. will this 5am instant awake ever stop? :)

It’s good to go to bed early and get up early

I agree on getting up early.. the day starts at 6am.. i hate how late everything opens.. that's why i shop at walmart at 6:05 or kroger.. no people in the store and i really don't like being around people much anymore :)
I still go to bed around 11-midnight usually though... 4-5 hours and i'm good.. anything over 6 and i feel groggy, i'm naturally hyper though.

No the auto wakeup has never stopped for me. It doesn't matter what time I go to bed I wake up at 5am.
The scary part is the last few months it bumped up to 4:15...sleep who needs it. I just lay there and doze till 5 ain't getting up that early. :wtf:

Naturally hyper. I wish I had some of that.
It's Hyper-thyroidism... the opposite of most people.. so it makes me hyper and keeps me from being 300 pounds :) I don't take medicine for it.. the only downside is that it destroys my memory.. the upside is i meet new people every day that already know me :)

I have learned that at my age its best to learn how to get the sleep I need, I am a bit hyper, and was very hyper at age 15 to 55.. 7 hours is a must !

I try not to do that cause if i wake up at 4-4:15 which is annoying.. i know that if i fall back asleep for that 45 mins that will honestly be a hour, i wake up feeling horrible and more tired than if i had gotten up...

So the wife and I have been working on communicating better with each other.
Yesterday as we were driving an hour down the road she was explained last week when she visited her 87-year-old mother last week she asked to check something on her back. She did and said her mother a skinny woman had little fat rolls on her back. I asked if that was hereditary?? I guess based on her reaction I still have some work to do.
