Nice that screws up travel. Is that a sink hole? This is a major freeway here, the 78. 100 of thousands cars a day over it. ALL being re routed onto surface streets.

Oh yeah it is. If I remember right about 2 miles further west there is a swamp that we used to see Flamingos in In the typical highway engineer way, it's built in the lowest spot around and typically next to the drainage for the surrounding highlandsNice that screws up travel. Is that a sink hole?
We get frost heaves around here in the spring.Oh yeah it is. If I remember right about 2 miles further west there is a swamp that we used to see Flamingos in In the typical highway engineer way, it's built in the lowest spot around and typically next to the drainage for the surrounding highlands
There are gonna be a whole buncha of municipalities in Ca that are going to regret not taking better care of their roadways come spring. All those cracks in the asphalt are now 2-3" wide gaps and soon to be 2' wide craters. We get frost heaves around here in the spring.

Those guys that engineered our Interstate system so long ago had the right idea. Everywhere possible pave it in concrete and you won't have to screw with it for 20-30 years. Asphalt has a 7-10 year life expectancy. That's if you use the variety of AC friendly to the areas weather patterns. Areas like Fred's are tough to engineer with the radical seasonal changes. Got to keep that water from penetrating that AC filling those designed air gaps between the aggregates. Loses all flexibility and cracks and falls apart,Can’t help but laugh
Agree, think his team is still alive tho. The Zags are going to have their hands full with TCU this evening, Zags transistion defense might get clobbered.Morning fellers. anyone here from Craig, had to be rough on him. 22 deg here but mid 50s today and the rest of the week.
Sorry to hear about your mom . Good thing you where alert !Back fom visiting mom.she had a fall the other day and fractured a bone in her hand. Looks awful.
Driving in, someone blew through a stop sign at the highway. Some reason i decided to slow down before it was too late. Glad i did. Would not have been a good outcome. Had it been a dumber driver in my place, it certainly would have been ugly.
