it is terrible. feel for the family
I quit watching the news and killed all my news feeds about two years ago. I can easily say it was one of the smartest things I have ever done. downside of course is my lack of connectivity to all things current. Essentially I get all my news from this thread!

Ted and I just got back from a little spree. I wish my wife could have came along. Might have to go back Sunday. We stopped for a little lunch and had a couple locally brewed Nut Brown Ales.

Yeah.. I have adopted the theory that our brains handle about 10 square miles and 150 people...the rest is just stress and anger.

I have no TV and glance once in a while to try and have some idea as to what is going on. Unfortunately, I don't trust any of the news. All biased in one way or the other. Money makes news and that is wrong.

I seriously think you could have earned a living with a camera Mike. Your pictures are always good.

Makes potential burglars have second thoughts too.
Yesterday I saw a brother driving a Tahoe, black, in the hood. Had to take a second look at it. It had bullet holes through the driver's mirror on the outside. Had to laugh my *** off. Don't know if he was shot at, or if he did that intentionally. Anyhow it was pretty funny

I don't see any news from America for like 6 months at a time. And I like it that way.

Usually those are self inflicted, mechanical offset is a thing! We have to explain it multiple times when we are teaching utilizing a vehicle, and put the student in the vehicle to engage. And always, and I do mean always put a blanket on the dash so the brass don’t go down the defrost vents!

Fond memories of explaining the the Sixt-Budget counter guy that we needed to replace the Mercedes SUV with another one as there seemed to be 5.56mm holes across the hood and into the engine.
