Stop in for a cup of coffee

A local Dodge dealership is trying to pass off a 66 Belvidere as an "Original Hemi Car" but now has a transplanted 440 in it...

It is not an original Hemi car, it was originally a Poly 318 car... I've emailed them and told them that it is not a Hemi car, but they haven't changed their ad...

You all should call them let them know it's not an original Hemi car and what they are doing is fraud, maybe if we cluster f*ck them with enough responses they will correct the ad and not try to rip someone off...

I think only a non-clutch fan would get a spacer

You want to space the fan so half of it is inside the shroud, and half is (outside) behind the shroud for best airflow, so the fan works with the shroud to act like a funnel...

When they design the cooling system, they use an acronym for that called FOOS (Fan Out Of Shroud).. By changing the overlap they can tweak the effect of the fan to pull the air directly THROUGH the radiator and condenser for maximum cooling.... You start at 50% overlap and move it until you find the optimum overlap for the combination...

Looks like 6 blade and 7 blades for the LA engine

Nope, a four blade added in 66

Look for a 7 blade with 1 3/4" blades angled in the correct direction.
Part number was often a painted stamp..

Also check out the unrestored and 100 point cars for examples...
They'll never notice...
