Stop in for a cup of coffee

So whats up this glorious day.
Clean up around the house.
Fix a chair.
Move two doors the neighbors getting rid of. One I can use. One another neigboir can use.
Might even try to hand the one door. I have to see if I have the right hinges. He stripped the doors of the hardware. He's learning. Slowly. But he's learning.
Maybe plant some seeds ?
Volleyball starts around 5 hopefully.
Some other puttering mixed in.

Getting ready to go to Church now, and later on when I get home I probably going to start blasting some of the parts I have for Carlisle. I'll do that outside with my pot blaster.. Sadly, Mama is no longer with me. But I still think about her.

His twisted and inside out humor keeps me laughing. The military did a number on him but I have to wonder if he wasn't always this way

Order some more parts for the Dart when I get home. Just ordered a service manual from eBay
The Service Manuals are great!
Parts books were hard to come by. I'd go to the dealers. The one on Rt 10 even had the 67 Barracuda supplements. The guys would let me look through them.

The Master Tech Conference and the Bulletins I never saw until the internet.

Just hanging out today in NJ at my MIL”s. Headed back home later today probably after dinner. It is a 3.5 hour drive so not bad at all.
Ever go to Kober's auto salvage in Montana NJ?
That was an interesting place - gone now

Been lucky on the parts books, I have a pretty complete 1960-29 set now. The older service manuals are harder. Plymouth has one, dodge has one, imperial another version all in the same year. And all i need is a few pages from each!

Hung door on basement bathroom yesterday Got last week on Marketplace. Fit in with a little trimming off bottom and planed the side near top., but was previously hung reversed and none of the hardware lined up. Recut jamb for new locations. Still need to move the latch catcher down like a 1/4 inch. Which lands the top screw in the old hole...

Hey Matt I'll call you after Doctor Steve Tomorrow and I check out A code violation notice from the city on a building I have near needle park. Fin junkies.

Boy if only Karl was here for that one

For mechanical parts I usually let the parts guys look em upo and order the stuff (if they could).
Back then, parts store parts and rebuilt stuff ewas usually decent. Remember rebuilt distributors for $20 $25 ?

But for trim and weatherseals I needed the part numbers to ask the specialty dealers and look through Hemmings.
One exception being the K-H hubs and discs. When those went unobtainium, I was going through hemmings for those as well.
That's how I got tangled up with Mitchell's.
