Been working this afternoon blasting some parts to go to Carlisle. Blast tank is not working exactly right. I think it's getting water in the mix. Tomorrow I will put a inline filter on it and see how it works.

Use glass bead. Flows way better than sand. Wait, its pricey.better stuck with sand. Sometimes the grit will block the nozzle as it gets through venturi,i have adjusted collar on the ceramic to allow larger grit to go through. I found the $50 dollar guns work better than the $19 dollar blast guns.

So, leaking tire in fargo was getting the better of me. Wheel off in shop, was quiet and i could hear the leak. Soapy water wouldnt show the leak. Its a pinhole in the rim. I need to knock tire off and puddle some hot metal onto it.

A old fashion dunk tank might have found it. You have good hearing. I probably couldn't have heard it.

Weird you guys are talking about sandblasting when that's exactly what I did on Sunday.

What a pain to beat out the lower control arm bushings. The air hammer is the only tool that seems to work for that. Took a long time to get it done too

I think I should just give in and go buy a shop press from China freight.

One problem is, you have a cheap POS air chisel. Until you have used a Snap On, Matco or the like, you don't know what power is....and I ain't just sayin that. I think my Snap On air chisel would move a mountain. It's one bad beeotch.

Hey Wolfie. What's the plan now after seeing your doc?. . Waiting it all out?
On blood thinners for at least 6 months.
Both hospital docs and mine said.
Prostate Cancer victims tend to develop blood clots, and they should have put me on them immediately following surgery.
So fix one problem create another. Sort of like how working on our cars go.

I wandered around my yard looking for someting that was useable. $200 for a new one is not out of the question. Seeing as i found the leak its less of an issue. One of today’s tasks. Fix the leak.
Have to widen the other 2 wheels as well. Thats a fun project.

Goodmorning!
12°, high of 23°. Air quality is very poor due to forest fires in alberta, and our carbon tax doesent seem to be helping…
