95 mustang,5.0. Out of the blue it starts funning hotter than normal,02s reads lean and detonation when accellerating. Timing bang on. Oxygen sensors are active and within operating range. I asked where last fueled up, exactly as expected. Local co-op. Notorious for too much ethanol.
Waste of a morning. Cant charge for a non-repair.

Hey service call ...lol When my furnace went down they wanted $100.00 for a service call.
 
Yep. I would do a little research to find out if any particular ones had value restored. Otherwise, I'd probably repurpose/convert most to cabinets and refinish.
We did that have had it 40 years.
At one time I was going to put a small fridge in but didn't.
Used it for years to store the kids board games in.

Omg. Back to civilization no phone service where were camped. In west Yellowstone for lunch lstill lots of snow

Man work kicked my *** today... just spinning wheels and felt like nothing got done.. was gonna work on the car, but gonna veg and unwind on the drums instead.. then be pissed i didn't work on the car :)

Obviously you know if that is okay by now since you have talked to them. I'd like to see what other issues caused your problem......

The exhaust seats had cracks in them. But that’s the only damage found so far.

The o rings around the injectors were dry rotted so that may have been allow the oil into the cylinders.

Machine shop thinks the head gasket just deteriorated enough to push coolant in to the cylinders
