Stop in for a cup of coffee

Think mine was 75 way back when I bought it. 20 is a steal on that one good for use as hobbyist.

Morning all y’all. I am heading back out trying to get sub structure on deck done. Working over my head is killing my shoulders! Deck is right at ten ft off the ground, 45 ft long and ten foot across. It’s a pretty good size deck. I will build a shooting bench into the handrail on the side that overlooks our shooting bays!

I have been having issues with both my shoulders for years. Not getting surgery, so I just deal with pretty much constant pain and discomfort. After cleaning our tall windows last week, they were on fire

Morning woke up this morning feeling pretty good after 54 holes of golf the past two days.
Had a great time and glad it's done. Hot and humid...I survived.

I have seperated by right shoulder three times in the last thirty years. I never had surgery just a long recovery. Surprisingly it doesn't bother me at all with all the repetitive motion like swings I do with golf and softball. I guess I'm just lucky. I'm careful though pushing anything heavy above my head certain angles with weight will shoot me a reminder at times.

I know I have a tear in my left shoulder. Had an MRI over a year ago, went to a specialist and he said you should have surgery. From a specialist I was hoping for different options. Waste of time and money, recovery from shoulder surgery is a long process that I don’t want to do

It will probably come to the point that I won’t have any other options, when I can no longer do regular tasks
Many years ago when I was in my early twenties I separated my left shoulder. Initially I did it by trying to rip apart those six pack beer holders, you know the plastic ones? I had two of them at the time. Anyhow continue to have trouble for a few years every time I put my left arm over my head at a certain angle it would pop out. For years I would just pop it back in. But then I went skiing with some friends of mine and popped it out real bad. Couldn't get it back in for like a half an hour. Finally I went to the Washington Redskins orthopedic surgeon named Stan Levine. He did the surgery on that shoulder in 1987 I think. They called it a Puti Plat ??? Reattach the ligaments and tenands and made them shorter. Yes it was a very long recovery couldn't raise my arm for almost 2 months. Then the rehab process. But that was 40 years ago. I can still tell I had an issue there but I don't have any issues doing work overhead or working out.

Jodi called me in for A little seafood and asparagus for brekkie this morning! @MOPARMITCH would like it! Quick drive by then back to deck!
