Turns out the whole operation will cost me almost $400. Maybe I should try to find another drive shaft in stead.
I had a new one made for 300. Go on line and see what they charge for shipping to you.

My '66 Dart has had a transmission transplant. The 904/273 was ripped out and a 727/360 went in. The 727 is roughly 5" longer which means I need a shorter shaft.

I'll start by looking to see if I can find a used on over here that is the right length.
It was an extra $50 because they had to taper down the diameter.
What length you need? I hae a couple. Might have to change the yokes though. I know one is 53"
Oh my !! I worked at Napa (counterman) and 7 years ago you could get a complete drive shaft made for half that almost (here in Arkansas) I need to price one for my 360/904 , prices have gone up I guess by a bunch.. good luck sir.
325 now for a 3" steel is the average when I was looking last year.

I need one that is 1270 mm between joint centers. That would be pretty precisely 50". The joints are 7260.
Maybe we could trade? If I remember correctly, the one I have is 55". And I have two 904 yokes.
I will check the belvedere today but it is probably longer.
