Stop in for a cup of coffee

So the good news of the day ("Good" being a relative term) is that I got the roofing and gutter contract in place for my house in Memphis and the Insurance Co. agreed to suspend the cancellation of my policy and give me 30 days to complete the work and then they will reinstate the policy in full.

It is only going to cost me $12k to get all the work done...:BangHead:

he didn't like it ....he just picked the meat off the top and left the rest. So luckily I didn't waste too much on him

No real surprise, cats usually don't like tomato sauce and aren't big on cheese. They just lick it a little for the salt.

Although we did have one cat that would steal the crusts if you left them in the box and run under the couch and gnaw on them. She was a bit unusual, she would also eat green bell peppers off a pizza too.

I know he is my cat though because he does eat burgers ....mainly the meat and some bread. doesn't go for the pickle.

He ate half a burger from sonic tonight because they had a 1/2 off sale on burgers today

I'm confused...he ate half a burger because he knew you got it on sale?

How much does he eat when he knows you paid full price?

Was the free half the same as the purchased half? And which one did the cat get?

I still want to know how Cooper knew how much Rani paid for the burgers before he decided how much to eat.

What did i miss? What is wrong with your roof?

haha ...I didn't even think of it from that point of view .....he ate half because I only gave him half because he is too fat as it is.

I ate the other half LOL

The insurance company sent out an inspector after I switched from a homeowners policy to a rental property policy and decided that there were too many shingles missing and threatened to cancel my policy unless I replaced the roof (with only 10 days notice).

Switching companies would have quadrupled my annual premium and the new company would have probably required the same since it was now on record as a defect with the property.

I argued back and got them to agree to give me a 30 day extension if I got a repair contract and I've been busy all week getting it done. Initial estimates ran close to $20k but I managed to get it contracted for $12k from a good reputable company.

Good morning, fellow moparsians!

Last night I removed my heater core. I had a vague memory that the PO said something about it. Maybe he had it fixed, maybe it was new, maybe it was busted.
Anyway, I took it out and straightened out the connection tubes that were crimped around hoses that were long gone. I inserted some air hose, plugged one end and put the water on in the other. Much to my surprise it turned out to be ok! Not a drop came out even at full water pressure which is somewhere around 60-70 psi.

Win!

I flushed it out some. Surprising amounts of brown water came out. Switched direction a couple of times and still more came every time.

I don't like the way most engine bays I've seen have these black hoses going right across the engine from the front to the fire wall. I'm pondering ways to do this in a neater way.

What is the normal water pressure in a mopar small block?

hey Anders - water pressure depends on heat - which is why you don't open a hot radiator. I'll bet it you want to get really fancy with it you could do something with braided lines and make them not run in the stock locations...

Mornin', Mike!

I'm thinking I could braze a copper tube that fits inside the thin-wall tubes coming out of the heater core and then use whatever fittings I can find to go over to some purty tube to run along the inner fender and then run a braided hose up to the intake.

I'm not going solid motor mounts just yet. :D

Good morning. Ugh. These mornings come around too early. Maybe has something to do with being busy doing stuff as it gets warmer and with longer daylight? Just can't seem to shut it down early...

I wonder would PEX work for heater hoses? I have no experience with it do you Keith?

Just me so far prob have to play UBER again today did spray round up yesterday and got half the field in grow strings with Ron.

I have seen it in blue, red and a clearish white, not sure what the colors are for hot/cold?

Yeh, don't see why it wouldn't work. Pretty sure it's ok for heat and press. Some of the exchanger systems run glycols...
