Stop in for a cup of coffee

I was watching some YouTube videos on the Syracuse Nationals, very large show but same weekend as Carlisle
The previous owner (16 years) of my car lived in that area and took the car several years. I've looked back through old post of the show and seen the car shown several times. He said it was a great show.

And then some of us meet up at Carlisle for a face to face. I've found that no one here is much different in person.
Of course, not knowing who you're looking at is a little different and can be amusing...right Hoppy.
Yup, im just as fake in person as i am online:rofl:

LOL. I figured out who you were right away. of course I had some clues in my favor - like a triple blue car.

You know.. if places come out with a new carb i wish they would send them to dyno guys, almost all videos are just pictures of the carb and specs from the carb webpage that don't tell you ****...
For two years many of the carb guys did a carb shootout at BLP.
if you ever wondered why I quote stuff from "Tuner" its because Mark Whitener showed that the basic principles work. Don't need to do all this real fancy stuff - in fact unless into a specific niche need - better off not.

There's only a few carbs that have been really new and different in the 4 barrel downdraft world. And maybe not eventhat different.
'Shrinker's Smart Carby" which is modular solid fuel carb was one - and that has to be set up for the specific motor combo. Predator of course. And then the Rochester Q-jet and Carter designs which have been revived a little bit.

Yeah.. i was just watching videos of the VRS. which makes me kinda wish i had gotten that instead of the street demon... although it seems like just another holley copy. and the price is way higher than the demon also...

You did fine. Tuning will put you ahead of 95% of the other guys

Good morning to all the 7 o'clock crew, heading in town to pick up my wife's favorite breakfast as she sleeps in, had 3 bucks walk threw the front yard early this morning, one large, looked to be an 8 point covered in felt.
Have a great day everyone, its Frontend Flower Friday
