Yes I did, saved for 9 months for the new brakes, and I had some help with the trans (my sons kicked in $$) I sold all my Slant six stuff (intake, split Exhoust and Holly 39 to buy my super comps) now to find wheels and tires for her ..
Mine has been a slow process getting the $ for parts. When I sell a part it goes into the POP fund.
I was put in the small stall to get the front end and rearend in, soon going back here for the presure was down and header install
She is looking good. Why you getting new wheels they look great on it.
Those are at Geoff and Nella's now , going on Nella's 67 barracuda vert, they are SBP , I need LBP now sir .

I ended up painting the rims black and dog dish and trim rings, looks good to me. Need to get a pic of it. When I spray the new hood I will paint them the body color.

I got a set of nos gm rings for 25! I think the dog dish were about the same, they need to be re painted.

Like to stay 14's on this early A, they seem to be the perfect wheel to tire size I think, in that last picture you see they are 13'' , I like the 14's on her, fender wells are full and not overly to big. I like all you have dun to the Pop machine

I still have ALOT of buffing to do on the paint, looks wavy in the pic but it is straight, surprisingly since I did the rear QP's myself.
One more touch it needs eventually is the bar in the back full of polyester Hawaiian shirts!
Looks great from here, I see rain drops and color changes from them, I like that Green Machine !!
