Hilarious...You know what happened when Hoppy set me a picture of his butt seat pics and might just come up with a cool mail box cover.
Keep thinking ideas are great.
This is the home of the Good Idea Fairy though

The box itself has to be approved by the post master general. I just bought a cheap box at home depot hollowed the mock up Blick and screwed it in. I don't have to worry about height or distance from the road. My mailbox is 40 ft from the road. It's all walk up service here.Does USPS have any specs that must be met? I know they has some for their placement on roadways. Found that out when I built one for a friend using a wine barrel half as a base. Had to be just so high and just so close to the curb, yadda yadda.
I live in town and have a PO box and not many in yard mail boxes. The box itself has to be approved by the post master general. Not a perfect world butt close.Wow that is disappointing and if the 3 people down by the water would leave it would be a perfect view.

Even with a splitter that's s lot of work. Finally finished splitting the two Hemlocks I had taken down near the house. Woodpecker had a field day on one, one dying, both too close. This won't be ready to burn this winter but I have a huge pile of alder and some hemlock to work on that will, most in logs. Time for a beer!

Yes it was more than I thought, some of the rounds were about 33 inches, rolling them around etc. plus throwing it all up on the pile. Can't imagine doing it with my maul/wedges.Even with a splitter that's s lot of work.
