Well today outta be a hoot, phone dies today, have had it's Iphone12 (kill me now) for about 3 weeks, no choice at this point, upgrade time. Expecting to lose all photos and contacts, have a phone that because the 2 factor authentication is a beast I probably won't be able to use. Should have my own personal cell but just have the work phone : (

Well, gotta go fix what got engineered incorrectly yesterday, POE device trying to go almost 300 feet of CAT6 cable, draws 30 watts, not happening but we can run a wall wart up to each access point and it will work, silly engineers, guess he didn't see the surge protector on each end from his cubicle lol!

If you're an Appler, can't you use the "swap phone" function in settings and back up your data in the iCloud?

Don't want to use the cloud thanks. I think I'll try to back up onto local home PC. I hate it that my work phone asks me for my Apple ID, that's not for sharing with work devices imo. Just hoping the swap doesn't take half the day but with all the security and applications, RSA tokens etc. on that phone it likely will.
