I caved in to all the thong rhetoric

Going to have to figure out the air compressor thing since my tank blew

SpaceX resceduled Falcon launch until tomorrow morning. Glad I didn't get up early to rush up to the top of the ridge to watch today. Chilly and foggy out there now, half hour ago it was crystal clear and chilly. Florida should get to view a Falcon launch this evening from the Cape.

Moving slow. But making a dent.
Gasket shellac, picked it up off bench, saw a ring of it stuck to bench. As im thinking how to clean it up i tip bottle. Cap was loose, pouring out all over. I’d rather wear anti-sieze. Big mess. Couldnt snap a pic, as hands were covered in it:BangHead:
Back to regular programming…

Nice day. Mowed the rest of the grass I started yesterday in shorts and a tshirt. Almost chilly with a lot of shade trees out back and a nice breeze. Nice Fall morning. Even some leaves on the ground. Would never guess it will be back in the 90s by Sunday. :wtf:

I will be mowing mine this afternoon. Going to bag it to pick up the hedge trimmings. I'm still not done with them. I'm down to the hard part that you can't reach from either side. I have a pole trimmer but it is really hard on my shoulders holding a trimmer and poles 6-8' out while standing on a ladder.

Yep. Pole trimmer is great going up. But as you drop angle to 45 or lower it gets heavy quick.

K.. so i'm down to having to order a converter very soon or i will never get this thing together.. anyone here use any of the less expensive options like the ATI streetmaster? or a hughes? Trying not to spend 800+.. was hoping to find a used one local.. but no luck :(

No return message from Precision? You may want to ask them of a shop in your area they sell to. You could order one from there if Precision doesn't want to sell one direct.

No I don't. I have never bought from them although I did business with their employees when I was in the tool business.

We just put a Hughes in my boy's hot rod. Couple hundred miles on it and seems to work and stall as designated.

Dad went with one from PTC, which I also plan to get one from, but you are back to $800 ish.
